Turkish Supreme Court: Ocalan's rights violated
Concerning the appeal of Abdullah Ocalan against the confiscation and the burning of his manuscripts for "The Fifth Defence" by the Turkish police while the book was being printed by Ararat Press, the Turkish Supreme Court has decided that Abdullah Ocalan's rights was violated.
The police had raided the Gün Printing House in Istanbul in August 2012 and confiscated the printed copies of "The Fifth Defence" published under the title "Revolutionary Manifesto of Kurdistan, the Kurdish Question and the Resolution for a Democratic Nation" written by the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and sent to the European Court of Human Rights.
Ocalan's lawyers had objected to the case and carried it to the Supreme Court.
The Turkish Supreme Court has decided today that the rights of the Kurdish Leader were violated then.
