The CHP has proposed the formation of a 'Commission for Social Reconciliation' and a 'Joint Advisory Delegation' to work in civil society in a coordinated way with parliament, in response to the draft law prepared by the government, known as the 'resolution package'.

CHP bases its proposal on the necessity for a national consensus for the solution of the Kurdish question and asserts that parliament is the place at which this consensus must be reached.

CHP also announced last year that it was ready to take part in a commission -akin to their proposal for a Commission for Social Reconciliation- if it were established in parliament.
